Chromag Samurai 650b custom build

I have been chatting with Ian Ritz from Chromag for almost a decade before finally pulling the trigger on this sweet new Samurai frame. Chromag still makes a few models in its frame line up in BC, Canada. The Samurai is one of these models. I can tell by the craftsmanship that this is a special piece of work.

The head tube is tapered 44mm to 56mm making it perfect for a Chris King Inset headset.

The head tube forming/butting/junction is impressive.

Some of the parts for this build are lightly used, namely the wheels. Sour apple Chris King hubs laced to Nox Farlow rims using Sapim CX-Ray spokes and polyax alloy nips. I love these wheels and ran them previously on a Santa Cruz Nomad C.

Full XTR drivetrain with 11-40 cassette and Hope E4 4-piston calipers front and rear.
