2013 Santa Cruz Highball 29er MTB Review VIDEO at Ride-A-Bike

2013 Santa Cruz Highball 29er Mountain Bike - High Performance, High Value

Bikeradar.com says, "The Highball is top-of-class in terms of weight and stiffness, which makes it extremely fast."

The 2013 Highball goes where pointed without too much muscle. It's intended to win races, but you can even use it on the trails around your house. Just riding it will show you that the Highball is ready for tight and twisted singletrack, as well as the fast and flowy fire roads that connect them.

The bike is stiff and responsive, evidenced by the first pedal stroke in which you will lurch forward with incredible speed. The stiffness is mostly derived from it's 100mm-travel, 15mm through-axle RockShox Recon fork.

The Highball has been designed with strength and stiffness as key priorities. The bike in this video is the aluminum HT version, which features the same responsive geometry as the carbon version. The components are fantastic: beginning with the Sram X7 derailleurs, Sram X5 shifters, as well as a X5 crank.

Santa Cruz has used their proprietary aluminum tubing, giving the bike strength yet keeping it strong. Riders are given the option of running a fixed position rear dropout, or a pivoting, adjustable dropout for single speed use.

The 2013 Santa Cruz Highball HT 29er rides low to the ground and handles like a champion.
Come down to Ride-A-Bike at 116 NE. Court Square in Lincolnton, NC.
